Poor-Aid (Food items)

BCC supports poor families (including orphans) who ( identified) are starving due no source of income. This may be due to illness or death in family. This support will be temporary until the family can find their own living.  

The kit we distribute contains food items that suffice for a month. To ensure this we have 2 type of kits. This will be distributed based on number of members in the family.


Kit –A  :( for a family of 5-6 members)
The cost of Kit will be AED 140.00 (Approximate ) and will include (but not limited to) below items (the items below are based on the kit given during the month of RAMADAN)

Self-employment projects

BCC realize that the ultimate solution to poverty is self employment. 
BCC invest its time in training and finding suitable job for Widows,  physically and mentally challenged brothers.  Below are the example of such projects.

BCC undertake digging of wells and give access to public. this project only upon receiving sponsorship.

Repair of existing house

BCC undertake repair of houses and protect them from further damage. These projects are on as and when we receive contributions from our brothers across the world.

Labor works will be free (except the skilled work like carpentry), as our members dedicate themselves to all repair works possible. Hence, the contribution will be spend on material cost.

Renovation of existing house


Those who can’t repair their damaged houses are numberless and there are so many families living in their kinds of shed. We undertake such renovation as and when we receive contributions from our brothers across the world.
This facility is available for our brothers have own land.

Rehabilitation centre


 a)   Project: new

This is a Rehabilitation Centre for poor / orphans who do not have a house their own.
This project will have 6 units of 2 bedroom flats (can accommodate 6 families).
The expected lifetime of the building will be minimum 50 years (and upto 100 years).

Ownership:
The houses will not be registered as family property, however, will be allowed to stay until they have their own set-up. This helps to keep the property for other poor people in the future and avoid selling for money.

Land:
The land is nearby Calicut Airport (2Km) and bought using ‘Zakat Fund’.

Sponsorship:
One can sponsor for each unit or part of it depending upon their capacity.
The building can be named as per the wish of the sponsor.

Orphan Care Programme.


An esteemed project under BCC extending care and help to orphan children to live with their mother in their own homes

Objective
  • To keep the orphan children with their own mother without sending them to prison like orphanages.
  • To arrange monthly religious classes (every second Saturday)
  • To grant a family pension based on the financial status.
  • To support the orphan children to satisfy their educational prospective
  • To protect the family from exploitation and superstitions

Benefits
  • More than 90 orphan families are benefitted by this scheme
  • Orphan children are provided with study materials at the beginning of every educational year
  • Each family is granted with a scholarship of 300 to 3000 Rupees every month (This scholarship is to ensure food, medicine and educational expensive)
  • Orphan care day (every second Saturday) is a get together of all orphan families in festive mood. Love, care and sumptuous food is provided on the day
  • Food and new clothes are given on festival occasions

Orphan Care Programme.

 

General Clinic & Pharmacy


Working every Sunday (4-5 times a moth) with full Medical facilities under a team of Doctor, Pharmacist and volunteers. These services are FREE and not cost to BCC.

Objective
  • To provide free treatment and medicine to economically backward people in the society (who are not fall in Psychiatry and Kidney failure cases)
  • To work as a proper guidance and reference center for critical patients
  • To provide financial support and guidance for better treatment.
  • Creating awareness among patients about medical exploitation and dangers of self-medication
  • Giving counseling based on Islamic ethics

Benefit
About 50 patients are directly getting cure and relief every week from the clinic.
Both patients and volunteers are enjoying the sweetness of free-will service based on Islamic principles

Kidney Patients Aid

A kidney patient has to spend minimum 10,000 to 15,000 Rupees per month
to meet either his dialysis or post transplantation expenses. Unfortunately BCC is not in a position to support all their needs due to high financial liability requirement. However,  we do support them as much we can;

Objectives:
·         To support the families to meet their hospital expenses
·         To arrange counseling and religious classes for the patients and bystanders
·         To establish a centre for supplying special dialysis kit for all kidney patients

Benefits:
At present around 40 kidney patients are getting 1000 Rupees each per month
from Bismi. Counseling classes are arranged for patients. The project to provide
the dialysis kit hasn’t yet come to being

Cost of Operation -Present and Future
Planning to accommodate 50 patients for the time being. This can expand as and when we receive more finance assistance from our brothers around the world

Psychiatry Clinic.

A most prestigious service enterprise by BCC.
This clinic works twice in a month under a team of Psychiatry doctor, pharmacists and trained volunteers.


Objectives
  • Provide free treatment and medicine for poor psychic patients
  • To provide patients and relatives with proper guidance and counseling
  • To arrange rehabilitation facilities for cured ones

Moreover, the ultimate aim of BCC introduces Allah as almighty and save the patient and family from superstition.

Beneficiaries:
The treatment is given to the poor psychiatric patients those who are not continuing regular  and follow-up treatment  due to poverty. 

Result
Most of the patients of our clinic are getting well.  Some of the patients  have returned to their regular job. Bcc has tried to rehabilitate three patients by providing small scale industries. Two students are studying after   the treatment.  Alhamdulillah   May Allah give us reward here and hereafter

Introduction:
With the great blessings of Almighty Allah, Bismi Cultural Centre (BCC), a venture by a team of religiously motivated youths ( near Calicut Airport area) to provide help and support to the deserving ones in all paces of their life, was founded in 1995 with the intention to enliven the verses of Holy Qura’an by giving support and care to orphans, widows, diseased, handicapped and retarded poor people in the society. Bismi(BCC)envisages an enlightened society based on the teachings of Prophet Mohammed(pubh).

Vision:
Bismi(BCC) and its well-wishers are looking forward for the fulfillment of a long term vision of setting up a state centre for the rehabilitation of downtrodden and marginalized people across the country.

Mission:
Invest the contributions from our brothers across the world in the ‘best projects’ for which they will be rewarded by Allah the most. Same time, we ensure all beneficiaries are leading an Islamic life and pray for their brother who donate and work for them.

Strength:
More than 60 active members ( including doctors, architects, pharmacists, teachers and drivers ) who dedicate to all projects ‘as worship’ and fulfill all requirements in Islamic way. Members do not claim any financial benefit from the organization. This is the strength of the organization.

Source of income.
Presently donations and Zakath of the generous minds in and out of the country is the only source of its income.
